What People Are Saying
Amazon Review for In The Beginning Volume 1:
This is definitely five star and the only disagreement I have is the age range. I have not only enjoyed this with my family including grand kids, but used it in our Bible Study with age ranges from 35 to 80, All ages will enjoy this and I did especially as I am old enough to have lived during the Golden Age of Radio. We thought of that as Theater of the Mind and this is truly that at its best. Kudos to Kevin Herren and his cast.
I truly believe that if you’re going to replicate the classics, you better make sure you’ve got a capable cast able to shoulder the load, and no better result could be offered than with Macabre Mansion Presents – presenting three auditory tributes to three timeless stories that will bring you back to the days of old time radio presentation. - Dread Central
"I could close my eyes and see the actors as if they were in a movie.” - 8th grade Literature student
"Herren should be applauded for the talent that has been assembled here in order to provide an auditory experience that will make any fan of those classic shows very happy," - Dread Central
"The Fall of the House of Usher' is an excellent example of an often-overlooked story telling media. Unlike a normal audio book where the words are simply read to the listener, the audio drama harkens back to the days before television when radio created productions for listeners to 'see' the words in their mind, with sound effects and multiple voice actors handling the different roles." - B Movie Man
A Christmas Carol
This highly entertaining audio dramatization of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol features a star-studded cast that includes John de Lancie, Daniel Roebuck, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, Tiffany LaBarbera, Virginia Hey, Kyle Hebert, and Reggie Bannister. It's 80 minutes of fun for the whole family!
